I began working
in corporate communications as an assisitant to the Art Director
for an audio visual firm in 1984. I transferred my skills to computer-based
applications when the opportunity was offered by Motivation Media
(MM) in 1987.
While working for MM's Interactive Systems Division, I fulfilled
many roles on a variety of computer-based projects including:
Art Direction
Structural Development & Storyboarding
Interface Design
Computer Animation and Illustration
Project Management
Programming
I have continued to work in this way throughout
my career, balancing multiple responsibilities while staying current
with new programs and technology. The projects I have designed
include:
Interactive kiosk applications for the Field
Museum
Intranet & CD-based training programs
for Sara Lee, Caremark, Kraft, Coldwell Banker and Motorola
Interactive sales presentation programs for
Siemens, Hewitt, PCS Health Systems and Quaker
Web sites for small businesses and large
corporations
While working full-time as a designer
I attended The School of the Art
Institute of Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree in 1993.
